Simplicity is recalling nearly one million cribs, after reports of three infant deaths.
Reason for the recall is the drop-side can detach from the crib, which can create a dangerous gap and lead to the entrapment and suffocation of infants.
Cause of problem is consumers unintentionally install the drop-side upside down. This, in turn, can weaken the hardware and cause the drop-side to detach from the crib. This creates a gap in which infants can become entrapped and suffocate.

Playskool received reports that a 19-month-old boy from Martinsburg, W.V., and a 2-year-old boy from League City, Texas, suffocated from an oversized plastic toy nail, that was equipped with the tool bench toy that became forcefully lodged in their throats.
Playskool Team Talkin' Tool Bench™ is a 20-inch tall plastic toy tool bench. The toy talks and makes various tool sound effects. The product also includes a toy hammer, screwdriver, two 2¼-inch plastic screws, two 3-inch plastic nails and pieces to build a small toy plane. The red Playskool logo is on the front of the brown surface of the tool bench.
The toy was sold at Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, Target, and KB Toys stores.
